I'm a San Antonio based photographer coming from the old school. How old? Welp... I started to learn about photography in the late 70s with my dad in his small garage darkroom. He would set the negative in the holder, adjust focus on the easel, inters the paper into the easel, and make a test strip. My job was to take the test strip and set it in the chemical trays. Agitating the fluid over the paper was my favorite part! I made so many prints they way until I started to set up the enlarger myself. In the late 80s I learned about a computer program called Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. I was in high school journalism and started to implement this new technology with my analog darkroom practices. This was the beginning of where I am now. I have a very old scan of a film strip I was practicing with as a kid.
