He expresses his bicultural American and Mexican Indigenous heritage by combining film photography & illustrations. Miguel is a US Air Force Veteran serving community as a Spokane Arts Commissioner, Spokane Public Schools Diversity Advisory Committee member, creative cultural economy developer and President of the Hispanic Business Professional Association.

Dra. Nancy is a first gen born in San Antonio, TX, First to graduate college and first to earn her PhD in culture literacy and language. Dra. Nancy is dedicated to empowering bilingual students through sharing her love of learning. She has taught tele-courses for migrant children before online education was a thing. In the classroom she has taught bilingual education programs such as dual language, ESL and Spanish language immersion in Central Texas. She is currently teaching Spanish Language Immersion in Eastern Washington.
Today she is helping develop language immersion programs, and mentors future bilingual educators.

(Thai-air - fear-meh) is Spanish for "cool workshop" this online gallery features the original arte of Chicano artist Miguel Maltos Gonzales with guest artists. ¡Firme! is also a podcast on Chicanoism, arte, cultura, heritage y more. Among the episode are a series of stories called Camera Cuentos. These stories are based on Miguel's experience as a photographer continuing his father's photographic journey.
